As the founder and chairman of Shyamala Gopalan Educational Foundation, he aims to create a large enclave of global education in India. Through Sri World School, he envisages a revolution in school education. Beyond a passion in the education domain, his various significant humanitarian endeavours, notably in the areas of social welfare and healthcare for the underprivileged, earned him many accolades.
Dr. Vijay Bhatkar is one of most acclaimed and internationally acknowledged scientists of India. He is presently the Chancellor of Nalanda University. In this responsibility, he has committed himself to resurrecting the glory of ancient Nalanda, in the context of 21st century. Prior to Nalanda responsibility, he was the Chairman of Board of Governors of IIT Delhi from 2012 to 2017.He is best known as the architect of India's national initiative in supercomputing, where he led the development of India's first supercomputer Param in 1990, under the technology denial regime. Currently he is steering the National Supercomputing Mission of developing Exascale Architecture Supercomputing for India.
He is a Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee. Indian computer magazine Dataquest placed him among the pioneers of India's IT industry. He was the founder executive director of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
Dr.Raj Kumar Khatri, an accomplished civil servant with over 33 years of experience in Indian administrative services, has been a transformative figure in the field of education, particularly in Karnataka.
With an impressive educational background, including an MBA and an MBBS, Dr.Khatri’s career is marked by significant contributions to the educational sector.
His tenure as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka's Education Department stands as a testament to his leadership and commitment to educational excellence. Under his guidance, the "Education for All" project, targeting grades 1 to 12, has made remarkable strides in providing quality education.
Embracing challenges with the spirit of an entrepreneur, Dr.Khatri’s approach to education reform has been marked by innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence. His efforts in orchestrating collaborations between the government, private sector and international organisations have led to impactful educational programmes and policies.
Dr.Khatri’s passion for education extends beyond administrative roles. He has been a vocal advocate for student-centric learning and teacher development, prominently featuring in discussions at the Asian Summit of Education Ministers.
Currently, Dr.Khatri is associated with various educational institutions, driving policy development, programme implementation, and quality assurance. His work, characterized by a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, positions him as a key influencer in the educational landscape.
Ulhas hails from G D Goenka Public School, New Delhi. He played in the Under-19 national school league and Delhi Open league, winning gold, and bronze in the two tournaments.
In 2016, he joined Westminster Business School (WBS) in Marylebone, Central London. He initially got selected to play in the 1st team (out of 3). Ulhas was pivotal in the club’s success in 2017–18, running the offense as starting point guard, leading the Westminster Dragons to their first university title in 7 years. In his 3rd year in England he played in the National Basketball League.
After graduation from Westminster, Ulhas played in a semi-professional 3x3 basketball league 3BL in India. There, he played for New Delhi's team Old School Ballers and won the 2019 championship.
In mid-2021, he started his fully professional career with Gloria of the Moldovan National Division.
As of mid-December 2021, he was the league's second-best scorer. He helped his team Gloria secure the bronze medal at the 2021 Moldovan Super League, the first medal in the team's league history.
